A “síntese” e a “força da ideia” têm-se revelado o principal objectivo no nosso trabalho, onde tentamos dar resposta ao constante desafio de uma máxima expressividade com um mínimo de recursos e meios. Encaramos a tradição a par da inovação na convergência das soluções técnicas mais adequadas às circunstâncias. Acreditamos que a relação entre o “material e o imaterial”, cruzando os meios (e os modos de fazer) disponíveis, com a cultura e as vivências de cada lugar, é um factor determinante na autenticidade do nosso trabalho.

ADOFF arquitetos is the face of a work that seeks to establish and define its link with architecture, where the characteristic ‘maturity’ of a young atelier combines a strong sense of responsibility with a degree of experimentation, in a constant search for the individuality and identity of each work. Synthesis’ and the “strength of the idea” have proved to be the main objectives in our work, where we try to respond to the constant challenge of maximum expressiveness with a minimum of resources and means. We see tradition alongside innovation in the convergence of the most appropriate technical solutions for the circumstances. We believe that the relationship between the ‘material and the immaterial’, combining the available means (and ways of doing things) with the culture and experiences of each place, is a determining factor in the authenticity of our work.
